Truck campers for Chev 1500 4x4 crew, 5'8" box

I have bought a 2012 Chev 1500 4x4 with a 5'8" box, orginally going to buy a pull behind camper but now things have changed and we are hoping to buy a truck camper. Need to know anybody out there that use a truck camper and if so what size and how does it handle.What mods or changes made to truck. Got to get some facts.

You can buy a camper to fit that box You should not have to change any thing. It will handel a little different but not that bad

Thanks, the problem is every manufacture tells me what l want to hear. I need facts from people who have bought TC and used tyhem on Chev 1500. If need be l will upgrade my truck but thats the last choice.

I have a Ram 1500 "short bed" so am looking at the Lance 650 & 825 I think Eagle Cap 850 would work too
