Turn Signal Annoyance

Sometimes when making a right turn, when the signal automatically shuts off
after completing the turn and straightening the wheel it causes the other side
of the blinker to turn on for 3 clicks. I am assuming that since it is only right
turns the issue is that the release mechanism is too strong and causes the
sensor to think I've pushed the lever down. Is there a way to disable to the
feature where if you slightly depress the turn signal it will turn the blinker on
for 3 clicks, or any other way to stop this issue? It is very annoying and
misleads the other drivers of my intentions.
