Need some advice

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The brakes on my Nissan Altima 2013. Is making
noises everytime i push the brakes on every stop,
turning corners or signal lights. I already took it to
Les Schwab and they told me that the cables need
tighten,  the brakes were dirty so they tightened it
and cleaned the brakes, but it still keeps on doing it
any advice?

"Cables"? Are you referring to the emergency brake cable? What sort of noise are you hearing? This is not something that typically causes noises. If you[re hearing squeals and grinding sounds, look up the sheer number of complaints on those, there's a lot of them. If you replace calipers, rotors, or pads, stick with the factory stuff.

I don't think its the emergency brakes because the car does not signal any light on the car that it has the emergency brakes on. Just hearing some squeals and grinding nosies. Okay I'll look them up and so your saying they need new ones, but factory for that type of car?
