i have a tick on th etop of th emotor when th emotor is warm. its fine when it starts than when warm its ticks and skips when idleing. with rpms up it runs fine. i can feel it on th epassager side

If you have a 2.7 liter it's probably not going to be good. That engine was not very good. Chrysler had a lot of oil distribution problems with the 2.7, and I mean A LOT. Have it looked at by a REPUTABLE mechanic.

Your engine was starving for oil and well probably blew up. Its called catastrophic failure. Basically something inside the engine broke and wanted out through the valve cover. Like I said very common cuz its a bad engine.

Whatever you do don't replace it with a used engine from a junkyard. I would still have a reputable mechanic look at it before you do anything.

Yes will do but any guesses of what it could have been cuz I need to know if I should just start looking for new car

It literally could be anything inside the engine. It has quite a few internal parts. Im not a betting man but I'm pretty sure its toast. Time for a new car, sorry.
