My 2000 Neon went into shop for repair on brake booster and Master cylinder. Now the temp gauge is on cool always. I live in S. Fl. I drove it 3 hrs straight and it never went to middle of gauge stayed at line on cool. Help?

PS. I want to know if the temp gauge could of been touched or messed up while doing said repair. I also wonder why check engine light not telling me there is issue with Gauge. ???

it was probably just unplugged during the repair, the temp sensor is on the drivers side of the head. see if its unplugged.
