2000 dodge stratus. Changed fuel pump, fuel filter new relay fuse and nothing pump turns on. . Ignition coils maybe
Could would be for spark. But if you don't have spark either I would test the wires going to the coils to see if you have volts. Green wire check while cranking with a test light, it should stay light whole time in cranking mode. Black wire should pulsate while cranking. If non is present i would say crank sensor. But I just dealt with my dodge truck that was doing the same thing and after diagnostics on it, turn out to be that it had a bad PCM. Best thing would be to dignose the power supply to the sensors yourself and if nothing I would find somebody to with a tester to pin point the problem. It could get expensive throwing parts to it trying to get it running.
No spark or fuel is a big sign leading to the PCM. Also I don't know if those cars came with a inertia switch but probably best you google it as well. Those switches trip and you have a no start situation.
Also if the pump turns on and you've changed the filter. Have you checked for fuel pressure with a gauge? If no fuel pressure is present and the pump does turn on I would look into the fuel pressure regulator. It's located on the fuel rail. Looks like a metal accorn with a small rubber hose on top of it.
Would you guys know if that year of car has a relay switch?
Okay I need to know what exactly" PCM" is or means need more info. Plz and thx
