Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced all plugs wires and d cap.. i have ran seafoam 3 times.. also cleaned my throttle body.. and replaced my air filter.. im still only getting 9 mpg.. i cannot for the life of me figure out what is rong with this truck... im only getting 175 miles on a tank of gas.. i no 3 people that have durangos that get 16 mpgs.. can any tell me what to look at because im going crazy lol

I've got a few ideas, Check tire pressure's, check wheel bearings, check to make sure the brakes aren't dragging, run lighter oil in it. If its not running well it could be a plugged cat. Does it have the 5.2 or the 4.7? any check engine lights? How did you run the seafoam through it in the tank or in the brake booster?

she runs like shes new.. the breaks are fine.. tires are good.. its the 318 5.2 i run it through the brake booster works better.. i also run 89 octane fuel .. the wheel bearing are new put them in about a year ago
