what happens when a piston wall breaks?

What happens is a loud horrible knock possibly followed by a seized engine. In a 2013? Not likely

Unless you played Speed Racer in your Camaro and over sped your motor to 10000 rpm

piston wall break ? do you mean broken skirt ? what brought on the diagnosis ?

What happens? You spend a lot of money. If that happened, it should be covered by warranty unless you were in an organized race. Be careful, the dealer will try to disallow your claim. How do you know it is a wall / skirt failure?
