Sensor light

Asked by Akdevil Jun 27, 2016 at 05:14 PM about the 1981 Toyota Pickup 2 Dr STD Standard Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the o2 sensor, how so I shut off the
sensor light?

1 Answer

like bob said, my 1981 Toyota long bed, RWD pickup has a white switch tucked behind the fuse box under the steering column, and as far as I've been informed (by many people/ mechanics included) that is the extent of the switches capabilities. However, my sensor light came on again for the second time this year, and the switch DOES turn the sensor light off, but If I switch it back it turns my "SENSOR" light back on. Now WHY IN THE HECK .... OR HOW/ WHAT? ELSE COULD TRIGGER THAT DAMN LIGHT THAT?!?!?!
