i have a 1986 bronco 2 when i try to start it it will run until i release it from the start position then its like you turned the key off. Not sure if its a relay or in the start switch, 2 Answers

has new Icm checked the emec. gas shut off and works fine but do smell gas fumes in my vacuum line on fuel reg not sure if whats wrong

changed the fuel filter was bad and put cleaner in the tank but drove it about 10miles on the way back it shut off the few mins fired back up

88 bronco II, new engine, ran fine, boy hit bump then fuel pump wouldn't come on. But could run hot wire to it. Had to replace ignition thingy. Now Bronco will not start. Help please
