Does yours have the dual fuel pumps? Try replacing the inline pump. Not the one in the tank. See how it runs after that.

starts fine then when you Come to a stop and you giVE fuel it stops you Then put in neutral AND IT WILL START AND RUN

I have an 86 bronco II and it will run fine and all of a sudden when i give it the gas the rpm's wont rise and then it dies if i pump the gas when i take my foot off the gas the rpm's will go up a little bit but i have to put it to the floor just to make it home any answers would help thank you
