I have a 94 Dodge Dokota which always reads 1/4 a tank of gas no matter if full or empty and i think the speedometer reads 5 mph slowerer than it should, what could be wrong?

the gas gauge could be a problem with the sending unit, which is in the tank. it is part of the fuel pump/filter assembly. the speedometer could be off if you are running a different size tire than what originally came on the truck.
