Might purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee Latitut, 2014. The carfax states that in 2015 the transmission computer/module was replaced and reprogrammed. Should I still Buy?

NO- these cars don't have a great record of repairs, and this is a prime example..... Past performance is a good indicator of future problems....I would pick another car.
I personally wouldn't buy a Jeep used or new no mater what the condition is. They just have too many problems. With that being said I would not reject this car based on a transmission module issue. More than likely it was just updated with new software. I would, however consider getting an extended warranty on this vehicle.
This was the model that rolled back and killed Anton Yelchin (aka Chekov), just remember that.
KenF----- I didn't realize that was the model, but, thanks for pointing that out...... Chrysler has always been about flash and style, NO SUBSTANCE..
