Car has gone crazy

Asked by Jennifer Mar 31, 2018 at 12:38 AM about the 2014 Subaru Forester 2.0XT Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Our 2014 Subaru Forester XT has went mutes after
a recent oil change. CEL on solid, eyesight light
solid, hill assist and ABS light as well. At oil temp
flashes. Tire pressure light randomly comes on.
Turbo indicator light (s) flashes.

Oil is good. Codes came up as a p0700 and another transmission I believe. Seems kinda weird it malfunctioned after a recent oil change (yesterday)

I’m worried because we are 100s of miles from home and of course 100s of miles from a Subaru dealership. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would find the nearest Subaru dealer and head there (or home). I doubt any independent shops can help you with CVT problems.

did you find an answer to this? I'm having exactly the same problem after my car battery died and I used jumper leads to start it up again. Same model car.
