Injector cleaning at idle

I bought some injector cleaner because the car has been having some
problems with misfires. I don't want to drive the car to run the cleaner though.
Can I just leave it idling for a while?

What possible difference could it make? Driving the car is the better plan in my opinion.

drive the car. those additives break down corrosion and build up in your injectors by using a chemical to bust up the carbon deposits and force them out through pressure. if you let it idle the additives you bought will not help you and may even cause a clunk of carbon thats lose to clog an injector. probably not but its possible.
