I've been looking at the Ford Crown Victoria used police cruisers.

I am curious, when a car is bought,  is any  mechanical warranty offered with
the purchase price?

I would AVOID used police vehicles. They are well maintained, but they really get the crap run out of them. As a former law enforcement I know this is fact. CarGurus has NOTHING to do will the sale, shipping, warranty or repair of a vehicle. This is ONLY an advertising site.

Cop cars can have thousands of idling hours on them in addition to the miles.
