Water. Blower started working today. Hear a noise in dash when taking turns and fan slows down.
You need to find the evaporator drain tube under car (rubber) and blow a small quick burst of air up in it to unclog this. I had this happen to my car when it was 2 years old. Spiders can make a waterproof barrier up in this tube. Your AC is not draining the water from the evaporator. Look under car inline with dash. It is just an open tube. You can use a can of computer keyboard compressed air.
If the water gets too high and impedes the rotation of it or the water leaks out the non-intended area and leaks on your electrical components. I think the water evaporated or leaked yesterday allowing it to work today like you said. I would clean this drain eliminating this possibility. It took me 5 minutes to fix mine. Most of that time was driving it up on ramps.
Making a turn and hearing the swish of the water and the water hitting the bottom of the blower fan wheel. I think this is your issue. Look it up on YouTube, it happens all the time
Be ready to move out of the way as water will pour out when you blast it with air. Don't have your face under it when you do this. I didn't say this earlier, but you probably was not seeing water on the ground on hot days when you was running the AC. It was collecting in the tray under the evaporator. My new car was flooded inside from mine getting clogged. My car smelled of mildew and mold for a year. I had to treat the carpet and dry it out.
Leaves and dirt may also come out of this tube. I would also change out your cabin air filter after you unclog this. You will be amazed at how much dirt is in these keeping your air flow low or non-existent. This dirt can collect around your evaporator causing it to clog. Introduce water and this becomes a paste.
If you don't mind, post an update when you spray air up in this tube and the condition of the cabin air filter.

Found drain plug. Was clogged. Running like a champ now. Thanks for all your help. Saved me a trip to the dealer
I am as thrilled as you!!!! I do not like stealerships or any business that defrauds people. This is why I have learned auto mechanics, home repair, appliance repair or anything else that is service related. Enjoy!!!!
I have become the guy around family, church and work that fixes cars for free so they do not get taken. I saved my wife's grandfather $378 today changing out the back 3 spark plugs on a 2000 Lexus RX300 3.0 liter. I did not take off all the cables and plenum. I reached under it and did it. It took me 1:45. I have done 5 of these now. My van was twice.
