Pre purchase inspection found fault codes P02214 TPM Fault engine misfire #1 and P092900 transmission shift fault. Should I risk purchasing the car?
Car has 45K miles and runs great. Test drive for 50 miles without issue.
They did not offer a repair estimate but suggested the codes could indicate future problems. After some research one of the codes pointed towards a tire pressure monitor issue. The repair shop was highly recommended and reputable, but without much experience with VWs. I plan to have a second optinion from a VW/Audi shop. It just seems odd it would have enigine and transmission problems at 45K miles.
