2014 Hyundai sonata se

Do you have to take the Axel out to replace
the engine. Just had my engine replaced,
rebuilt. Now Axel is bad and needs replaced,
the dealer shop said it just went bad and
they didn't have to remove the Axel to
replace the engine...
