Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car won't accelerate past 20mph but the rpm
goes past 5000 rpm with the pedal all the way
down, I'm trying to get it repaired what can I do?

I suspect your CVT transmission. Go to your Nissan dealer, hopefully you will get a free replacement.

That happened to me. Turned out my catalytic converter went out. I replaced mine but if you live in a state that doesn't do emissions testing, a mechanic should be able to bypass it.
