15 Explorer rear passenger doors are possessed!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Rear doors will not open from inside or out.  
Problem will come and go.  Started with right rear
now both.  Tired of loading from the front doors.  
Need help!

I'd inspect the master door switch on the driver door first since it is random and effects both rear doors. It could also be the wiring too.

Take a minute and make certain the child lock is in the correct position and move it back and forth several times leaving it in the "off" or "unlocked" position. It is on both rear door jams on the door side. They may have been discontinued but it might be good to check. My 06 has them.
