i take my 99 gmc yukon out of drive and put it in park then all of a sudden i hear a loud clicking sound

Just changed the transmission about a week ago and didn't have the problem til just now when I put it on the jacks to change the breaks we changed the transmission and it was hard to drive and then it stopped moving altogether the breaks were not returning to its original position so I'm fixing now. The rotors spin without the wheels on but not with any idea about that?

I finished the breaks it doesn't lock up. But I still can't get anywhere it won't shift right and I just changed the tranny could it be a problem with the encoder motor on the transfer case
