An old/weak battery or extremely depleted newer battery will be significantly weaker than a fully charged battery and if it is in really bad shape it may freeze solid depending on how cold it is outside. Thaw it and perform a load test with a battery tester (higher the amp the better) or take it to a store and get them to test it. Then fully charge the battery and re-test. I use a 100 amp carbon tester (~35 at a auto store). The before and after will give you a good idea on the condition of the battery. In your case maybe let it get cold again and re-test.
