I read in the manuel that you can pull the door handle once to unlock, and a second time to open. Can anybody tell me how to disable this feature?

Unfortunately no, last night my 2 year old opened the door going down the highway. After pulling to the side and shutting the door, locking it, we started to drive. At 60mph I tried it myself. Pulled once it unlocked, pulled a second time and it opened. I could not find in the manuel how to disable it.

Thank you for your help, after searching through the manuel I found a switch located on the driver door that might be the solution to my problem.
