Purge valve

2015 edge
While fueling the engine stutters almost stalls if I don’t
race engine.
Check engine light on.

You should never leave the car running when re-fueling. I think you have an EVAP system problem.

Thats because you are opening up the gas tank. On a pressurized system. Causing the engine to lean out. If there is an evap leak (typically p0456) that means there is a leak in the emissions system which is what is happening when you open the tank.
