is my 01 tranny compatible with my 91 ford ranger tranny ?

can i put my 01 ford ranger tranny into my 91
ranger ? if anyone could give me some helpful
articles or help me out that would be great i just
don’t want to drop it and find out they don’t match
up

Nope, it won't work. A 1991 model is OBD I and a 2001 model is OBD II. They're completely different computer control systems. Not at all compatible. You need a 1994 or older. Plus the information on both transmissions tags must match. Hope that helps! Jim
