Car overheats when driven a distance

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I've changed the radiator , thermostat, sensors. It
runs fine around town but when driven over a
distance it will overheat when stopped . It may be
losing coolant , not sure . It does seem to run longer
when the radiator is full without over heating

Did you change the cap? is there a crack in the overflow container? did you flush the block? are the fans coming on when the car reached temp?
Yes I've changed the cap ,not sure if there is a crack in the reservoir but I will check soon. ( omit that problem for now ) I had the radiator changed , would they of flushed block then ? The fans are coming on .
I've done all of what you just listed with my 02' EX and it comes down to head gasket leak in between cylinders, water pump, and or clogged coolant ports throughout the block. I run away from that car before it gets worse. Top it off with coolant, grab your title, and trade it in now before you regret keeping it.
