2006 Chevrolet Suburban stalls periodically and does not want to start periodically

My Suburban has been periodically having trouble starting. It will turn over
fine but wont start for a few seconds like it has no fuel. Then it will start but
rough. its been doing that for awhile just at random. Now  it has begun to
randomly stall. While driving under easy acceleration, it will sputter periodically
and at times it will stall when idling. Any thoughts?

quick , run a fuel pressure test at the fuel rail to prove the fuel pump , before your totally stranded , its failing ,

Ok thanks. I have been looking at replacement pumps and there is no clear answer on whether or not the filter is integrated in the pump assembly? Somewhere around 06 gm moved the filter to the tank from what I can tell online.
