car will not go over 15 MPH. seems like it wants to stall. engine light came on.

Only way to know is to read the computer codes causing the engine light to come on. Is it still under warranty? If so, contact a dealer. If not, and Auto Zone or other parts store will usually read the computer for free and offer some recommendations.
