Beware Soundview avenue in the bronx

Yeah...I definitely feel your pain! There are some bad streets in Center City, Philly as well. I bottomed out the front end of a Volvo I had back in 2009 on my way back home to NJ. Cracked the front axle and had $5k worth of damage (Thank God I only paid the $500 deductible...fixed at a Volvo Dealer & Progessive Insurance picked up the rest of the tab!). I've spent some time driving in the Bronx, but no idea where Soundview Ave is ...North or South BX? Close to the Grand Concourse?? Been some years since I drove thru there, but remember some of the roads were kinda crazy. Gun Hill Rd in North BX was kinda insane, if I remember correctly.
2/10,s of a dime is small enough to braze or mig weld if the metal is solid. stop at a muffler shop or garage with the equipment and they can fix it in little time , should be no more than 40 dollars
