hot air blows with cold air when heat is on

I have recently had my radiator, heater core, and out/in lines flushed. Get heat, but only at low fan speeds and low travel speeds. I believe it to be my hot/ cold mix door (whatever the propper term). I understand the box, or at least the mix door arm may needful replacement. However, is there a way to go through the dash and simply block the cold air exchange and allow only the heat?

Yes, your blend door may be a factor. But while it's cold is the best time to have heat, and also the best time to have the hot engine violent circulating through the system. It is possible that you have worn blades on the water pump turbine. It could cause the coolant to cool down quite a bit if it's not running through the system fast enough. Or also it is possible that there is still a lot of air in the system. Another would possibly be a thermostats sticking open and not allowing it to build much heat. Hope that gives a little insight to a solution.
