stiff brakes

was driving then suddenly ESP light came on and brakes became stiff. Still
working but have to push brake paddle harder to stop the car

There is a vacuum leak either in the hose that runs to the vacuum break booster that may have a leak,... but more than likely it would be the break assist vacuum booster that goes bad.

ok thanks, I guess you right will take it to my mechanic tomorrow to check it out.
