ghost turning on my dome lights and door chime in my 03 sonata

One of your sensors is detecting the door is open.if its you turn right its the driver side door. Check the clearance of your driver side doors

sounds good how do I check that. is it maybe the door is out of alignment or is there an adjustment for a sensor.

There is a rubber boot that covers the button. Its location is close to the striker in the door jamb. Push the button in to see if they all operate the same. If they do u might need a body shop to align the door that is in question. If one is kinda messed up replace the sensor. Its one connection and one screw.

I put a spacer behind the switch to move it out a bit and that seemed to do the trick once again thanks for the tip
