losing power. already replaced altenator, plugs & wires. could it be Cadillac convertor?

If it feels like the engine is holding back, revs up in park ok, then yes, it could be the cat. You can check it by going for a ride to get it hot, look underneath when the problem arises, and look at the cat. If it is getting plugged, it would have a orange glow to it.
