Check your motor mounts and transmission mounts. I'm guessing that at high speeds, the torque becomes too great and it starts jerking.

hi guys .after changing my engine and gear mount my Hyundai sonata still jerks.although it is not as before.if it wants to move from gear 1to 2 it makes a sharp sound twice. it does not get to 3 before jerking.what should I do pls
Apparently this model has a problem with the speed sensor. Numerous people have had the same problem you are having. I have read many posts, and the most common issue is the speed sensor. Some people are on their 3'rd one. It could also be your MAF. Mass Airflow Sensor. Some people have reported jerking due to a bad MAF also. If it's the MAF it's usually hard to start and stay running at idle. Do some research and see what you come up with or take it to the shop and have it diagnosed. You can take wild shots in the dark, but any one of these parts will run you quite a bit of money unless you do it yourself. Good luck!
