Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car stop accelerating on the highway. When I pulled over and stop the engine then restarted it, it was okay. The next morning it did the same thing. Can you help with this.

Unfortunately your post is too little to go on for any proper diagnosis. The first thing you can do is check for trouble codes or a "check engine" light. It may be going into "limp mode" and limiting engine revs in order to protect the engine from damage. So have codes scanned, any auto parts store can do this for free.

Thank for the information. To add to my description of the problem; my engine light is not on at this time. I'm not having trouble with starting my car, but once my car stopped accelerating, today I was able to put it in neutral then back and drive and the car picked up speed.
