Hesitation on acceleration

I have a 1995 Hyundai Accent (manual transmission) with just over 80,000
miles on it. On acceleration, it some times hesitates and basically falls flat
on it's face. I have to take my foot off the accelerator and accelerate again.
This doesn't happen all the time and some times happens when I shift into
second gear. I just replaced my fuel injectors but that didn't seem to make
any difference. Any suggestions as to what might be the cause of my

WHEN IS THE LAST TIME THE CAR HAD A COMPLETE TUNE- UP, PLUG, WIRES, FUEL FILTER, CLEANED THE THROTTLE BODY...

This has all been done with in the past 30 days along with water pump and timing belt.
