Check for a blown alternator fuse or fuseable link wire going to alternator.

hate to say it, but an alternator can be bad right out of the box. I would have it tested. actually have had this happen.
True...happen to me also...more than once...
New battery and alternator but still not charging what else can I do?

My battery went dead, after charging, the speedo and tach are buried below zero. How do I fix? All other gauges are fine, so I don't suspect the fuse.
