No power, difficult to get up to 45 mph.

I bought this 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ 4 cylinder 2.5 cc with automatic transmission about two months ago, and drove it home about one hour and it was wonderful.  I had no problem getting to 75 mph on the freeway.  Now, I have trouble getting it up to 45 mph.  It idles great, smooth running and no other apparent problem.  It has trouble shifting to the next gear, unless you let off the gas, then it smoothing shifts to the next gear.  I have tuned it up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, timing is spot on, repaired a couple of vacuum leaks.  Any ideas why I have no top end power/speed?

Have your catalytic converter checked. It may be partially plugged up.

hi I took my jeeps cats out. and it is still the same. I have to ideal jeep for 10 plus min before he runs good. the engine light still on. what else can be wrong

Could be a fuel injection problem try running a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner through. It may help.
