Air leak

Hi guys I have a opel corsa 2002 gamma
and I recently discovered air leaking when I
open my driver side door and when I
accelerate its loader I looked under the front
wheel took of the cover and saw a black
cylinder where two pipes go in there is a
crack or something in because I could feel
air coming out can anyone help

But can I still drive the car will it have any bad effects while I drive

I located where the hissing noise come from its from the opening on the carbon canister can I leave it like that or must it be replaced
