Loud knocks are usually a sign the engines gonna go CLUNK, and stop rods and bearing make load knocking noises. Why is it full of oil was it low or leaking before? How many miles? So it was ruining perfectly then just suddenly began making loud clunking noises? NO timing chain noise at start up before this?
