Goggle it and find out maybe type your car vin number or call or email ford dealer or company and ask simple they all know)

Look on the data plate on driver's side door. The code under "TR" (transmission), should be L or X. The L=AX4S X=4F50N (AX4N)

Thank you I have a 1999 ford tarsus. My transmission. Is either out or somone toldme it could be the cable to the shifter nroke I dont no alot about vechicles anymore. And my husband passed away last June
