Engine idle

Ive had plugs and wires and shocks put on it. I did one thing I shouldnt-- I put the wrong gas in it. No octane kind for mowers. Thats when it started not idling right. Then I put the right gas in it. That made a world of difference. But the idling just races so loud. It sounds like a 747.lol.
most common cause is a vacuum leak. Check for leaks around the PCV.
Don't know what you mean by "no octane kind for mowers" but your engine should be fine with 87 octane gas. The gas is not your problem. Have you had the car scanned for error codes? That may reveal a sensor or component failure and lead to a fix.
