nissan maxima carplay not available in 2018 by default?

Hi,

I purchased a new Nissan Maxima SR in March, but I cannot find Apple Carplay or Google car available at all. I've asked the dealership about this but they do not give me any answer other than they don't know about this feature. How should I proceed with this, as the dealership is not helping me at all?

I have a 2018 Maxima Platinum and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto both show up, but you have to go into a certain menu to find them. Go to www.NissanUSA.com, and search for the Maxima. Then look at the section for Manuals. It is also in the Nissan Connect Manual that came with your car. Hope this helps you out. My dealership set all that up when I took delivery of my car. Explained every button, knob, and feature to me. Sounds like your dealer did not do a good job.
