Usually the relays are in the under hood fuse box.
do you think relay could be the problem i cheked fusses, didnt give any problems befour it hapend
Fuse and relays always get checked first. It's cheap and easy. Most likely is the pump died but do the easy checks first.
Sounds like you on the right track. But keep in mind that the eclipse fuel pump does not prime when key is turn just to on position. Engine has to either be turning over or running for the fuel pump to work, I would loosen the fuel rail and try to start the engine. Use extreme caution have rags handy if pump is still good fuel will spray out. Can't stress enough to use extreme caution. Have someone else turn it over while you watch for fuel. It should shoot out almost instantly when engine first turns over.
Something else to think about. How many miles is on your car and has the timing belt been replaced. Should have been replaced at about 100000. This would also cause it not to crank if it broke. Hope it didn't tho cause its an interference engine and if it breaks most of the time it will bend valves.
no answer I just wish people would post back what the end result was in a FIX.
