p0172 system too rich

cant figure what is causing this code too come on changed the mass air flow sensor and
that didnt help

You may have to disconnect and clean the battery and connections, then reconnect and drive it some to reset any code. if it resets the same code, you need to read and perform the tests indicated by the code. It can be injector on time is at stake, or injector issues. there is too much fuel present after combustion i expect. If you are behind on maintenance, this is a good time to find out and get that done with trying to get the codes to clear.
