why does my 1997 eclipse 2.0 die for no reason starts right back up runs great other than dieing

could it be the fob

Does it go dead mainly when coming to a stop or at an idle? If so possibly dirty/faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle plate.

most likely the IACV (idle air control valve)
