Will it cause any issues to remove battery

It's best, on a newer model, to plug a memory saver device in so you don't wind up having to be towed to the Dealer to have the computers flashed (reprogrammed). The device is inexpensive and plugs into the OBD II plug under the dash near the steering column. When in doubt, error on the side of caution. Jim
I never do any thing that requires main power disconnection without hooking up a memory saver to the OBD2 port. Doing otherwise is just plain reckless.
