engine light on
I have a 2003 nissan Altima. The check engine light
amd the slip indicator lights are on. Car loses
power if I try to accelerate. If accelerated slowly
the car reacts fine and will reach highway speeds.
If accelerated fast it feels like it has no pwer and
seems to not ahift into higher gears making it hard
to reach over 40 mph. Any ideas on what it may be
the issue?

Take it in and use a code reader at Auto zone or O'Reillys. I'm sure they'll check it for free and you'll find out everything that's wrong with it. But it could be multiple things. It may need a tune up. Or it could be the engine or transmission. Fuel pump might be it to.

Or even any local mechanic shop that has a code reader. That'll tell you exactly what's wrong with it.
