Is there a fuse or relay designated for the power door locks

Asked by WGH Jan 20, 2013 at 10:34 PM about the 2001 Nissan Frontier 4 Dr SE Crew Cab SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced a door speaker and screwed a screw into wires which shorted out some things... my power windows or door locks would not work.  I fixed the short but the power door locks are still not working... I am worrried that ive fried my entrance control unit or body control module... which is expensive... I am hoping that there is a fuse or relay that could have gone out in the process and would solve my problem because i cannot find such a thing

There might be another fuse box by the drivers left knee.

There is no fuse on the driver side left knee area that pertains to door locks or power windows. Now under the hood opposite of the keyless entry and security block fuse block there’s another fuse block on the passenger side front along the right side fender it has a fuse a 40 amp fuse for power windows but it doesn’t say anything about power door locks but I’m betting anything that if you pull that fuse the power door locks will not work either.
