My 1997 Ford Taurus has electrical issues. It has a blinking check engine light,..even after completing all maint? Now the left rear brake light won't come on when I hit the breaks.,and all the obvious' have been troubleshot! Lol any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.,.rob

the idle on my 2003 ford tauras ses is all messed up. Replaced the iac and some sensor. And the alternater. It's better, but it stalls out when I'm at a red light. Gotta put it in neutral and rev the gas to prevent this. Stressfull driving. Won't pass inspection in January. Any thoughts on this? Greatly appreciated. 1 Answer

Hello, I have a 2006 Ford taurus SEL 3.0. Thew check charging system indicator comes on. The red battery light comes on after about 15 seconds after startup. If the battery is strong it does not come on but after a few starts the battery weakens and the light and warning come on. I have replaced the battery connections and the Mega fuse.Checked fuse #26.It is good and the auto parts store says the alternator is pumping out 14 volts. I'm stumped 9 Answers

It starts, however, the idle is jumpy and thr RPM's surge and it sputters and stumbles and back fires at times while driving, and sometimes the gas peddle jumps under my foot.
